For over 30 years, Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière's commitment to intercultural dialogue resonates through all his endeavors.
Since founding Fimalac in 1991, he's dedicated to building a harmonious society, embracing arts, and promoting French cultural influence.
He founded the Fondation Culture & Diversité Foundation, a Fimalac Corporate Foundation, also a founding member of the Fondation du Patrimoine and a patron of the Louvre Museum.
At Jacques Chirac's request, he presided over the France-Muséums Agency responsible for the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum’s in until its public opening.
His international involvement extends to creating the Association des Musées méconnus de la Méditerranée (AMMed).
In recognition of his cultural and humanitarian actions, he was elected to the Académie des beaux-arts (Institut de France) in 2005, later appointed as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Diversity.
We are deeply honored by his presence for this new edition of Parcours des mondes.
